BIIF Division II All-Team selected Kuni Kalani-Kaeha and David Martinez to the 1st team, while Duke Palma and Keanu Muck made the honoable mention list.

PAHOA FOOTBALL NOT SCORELESS
Pahoa High and Intermediate School (PHIS) first game was on Thursday, August 22, 2019, which we lost 51-14. But Duke Palma ran for 83 yards for a touchdown and made the first score for PHIS. HONOKAA CONTROL SCRIMMAGE

Honokaa control scrimmage with was a learning experience for our team. We have lots to build on before the season begins on Thursday, August 22 against Hawaii Preparatory School at Keaau at 7:00 pm.   


Iolani & Pahoa Football Camp

Iolani School and Pahoa High football teams shared a full week of football learning, teaching and building relationships with athletes and coaches. Both teams shared practices and meals together. 


COACHES ARE SPECIAL
ILH Executive Blane Gaison and HCAMP Troy Furutani were the main speakers at our coaches meeting on July 21, 2019 at 10:30 am at Imiloa Astronomy Center. Coach Frank Degele was selected to the 2019 Hawaii High School Athletic Association Coaches Award. Degele coached over 30 years at Pahoa and continues to be part of the athletic program coaching softball and bowliing.
